11.1 Pre-Launch Checklist

Run through this checklist in the 2 weeks before you go live:

Website & Technical

  • All products have descriptions, prices, and at least 3 photos

  • Payment gateway tested with real transactions

  • Shipping rates configured correctly (Australian states and international if applicable)

  • All legal pages live: Privacy Policy, T&Cs, Shipping & Returns

  • Google Analytics 4 installed and tracking conversions

  • Meta Pixel installed and verified

  • Google Search Console verified

  • Sitemap submitted to Google

Marketing & Brand

  • All social media profiles live and complete

  • Google Business Profile verified

  • Email welcome series active and tested

  • Abandoned cart email flow set up and tested

  • At least 10 blog posts drafted and scheduled

  • Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns ready to activate on launch day

Operations

  • Stock ready to ship (or dropship supplier agreements signed)

  • Packaging materials ordered (include a branded insert card)

  • Australia Post, Sendle, or courier account set up

  • Customer service email monitored (target 4-hour response during business hours)

  • Returns address confirmed and process documented

11.2 Launch Day Activities

  1. Send ‘We’re Live!’ email to your pre-launch subscriber list

  2. Post on all social media platforms simultaneously

  3. Activate all Google and Meta ad campaigns

  4. Share in relevant Facebook groups and online communities (where rules permit)

  5. Ask friends, family, and colleagues to purchase and leave reviews

  6. Personally message relevant influencers and media contacts

  7. Monitor website for technical errors every 2 hours on launch day
